2600 R2
SA 2600 R2 is York Chan's homage to Stephen Hawking and his dire warnings about our future. Satire and reality collide on a daily basis with zero concern for our keyboarding sensibilities. Disinformation runs amok. In spite of such unrest, exoatmospheric excursions are fueling leaps in technology that should allow colonization — a prerequisite for the long-term survival of humanity. Privately held and publicly traded companies will handle the first crewed space launch on US soil in nearly a decade while Elon's fledgling corporate satellites whirl in orbit. Can science outpace our baser instincts, or is its unethical application the continuing cause of our woes? Will the world actually burn over the next century? People think that something is wrong; that there will be massive consequences down the line unless we act the "right" way. Stephen Hawking [roughly] said: "By the year 2600, the world’s population . . . would make the Earth glow red-hot. This is untenable!" It shouldn't be too late for humanity, but if doomsday is at our doorstep be proud. Humanity achieved something ahead of schedule in these trying times.

SA Sunday Morning is a keycap set based on the color scheme of one of my favorite vinyl that I own and is named after one of the most significant songs in the album.
